Content in this exposure draft is subject to further consultation. The purpose of releasing this ‘exposure draft’ is to provide an updated draft New Zealand Police Shooting Range Manual to support the regulatory regime which comes into force on 24 June 2022.
It sets out the standards and principles for the safe planning design, construction and operation of shooting ranges.
This exposure draft replaces the New Zealand Police Range Manual published in 19, and all preexisting Range Manuals for civilian shooting ranges produced by the New Zealand Police.
